On Sunday we took to the stage at Nottingham Caribbean Carnival and played to a crowd of thousands of music lovers. Parly B first took to the mic, warming the crowd up as Take Over Sound laid down some foundation riddims with a modern twist. Our Tippa Irie dubplate shifted things up a gear, and then it was Ram1's turn. This young singer from Nottingham has big things ahead of him, as was clear when he worked such a large crowd with ease and style. Parly B then performed one of his own tracks 'Dubplate Fashion', an upbeat digital riddim with a lively vocal pattern on top. Last up was Lisa Hendricks, who sang two beautiful songs over acoustic riddim tracks. Her soulful voice was the perfect way to round off a great set. Maximum respect to all the performers, to the organisers and of course all the people who came along to enjoy the sunshine! 1 love
